Our Story
Carter's Chocolate Cafe opened as The Chocolate Shop in 2010 in the heart of Waterford City, in the South-East of Ireland. Opening during a recession, the plan was to sell chocolates and hot chocolate and see how the Christmas Season went.
With Valentine's and Easter getting busy, people kept asking for coffee, and so the Cafe was born! We started squeezing lemons and making our own lemonade which became so popular, we had to start bottling, eventually winning a Gold award at Blas na hEireann.
